Bryan and Lauren Biegler’s farm was established in 1886. Their family is the fourth generation of Bieglers to farm the land in southwest Minnesota’s Murray County. The farm started with Bryan’s great-grandfather and 160 acres. The farm was passed down to Bryan’s grandfather, then to his parents, Buddy and Louise, and now, Bryan.
The Bieglers grow corn and soybeans and operate a custom conservation services business. Bryan is part of the National Corn Growers Association’s Soil Health Partnership that helps document the impact of conservation practices on the land.
Bryan and Lauren have three young children: Alaina, Aubrey and Wesley.
Bryan serves on his church council and the Murray County Corn and Soybean Growers Association Board. He is an at-large director with the Minnesota Corn Growers Association. Lauren served on the church council and teaches Sunday School. She is a member of the Murray County Central School Board. Lauren is an advocate for agriculture volunteering with CommonGround Minnesota and works as a coordinator for Girls on the Run—a local girls running group.
