Tom and Trisha Bullerman
Tom and Trish were married in 1981 and started farming that same year. Initially, the couple had a small purebred dairy herd that was disbursed in 1987. Three years later, the Bullermans bought two purebred Angus heifers and have since expanded to 150 cows. A majority of the calves produced are marketed as breeding stock to other producers. An annual production sale is held on the farm.
Tom provides the daily care and management of their herd. Trisha handles the book work, cattle records and Angus Association records.
The Bullermans’ oldest son, Tyler, takes care of most of the AI and embryo transfer work. He provides embryo transfer work for neighbors’ herds as well. Tyler has a daughter, Brynn, age 13. She is active in school and 4-H and exhibits at the Nobles County Fair and several other shows.
Tom and Trish’s younger son, Trent, works off the farm as a registered nurse and health coach. He provides building and equipment maintenance on his days off. Trent's wife, Christine, works for Nobles County Public Health Services. They have a daughter, Kendall, who is 3.
Tom and Trisha lost their daughter Tara in 2003 to leukemia. She was 9 years old.
Tom has served on the Nobles County Fair Board and the Minnesota Angus Association Board. Tyler is on the Nobles/Rock Cattlemen’s Board. Tom, Trish, Tyler and Trent serve as adult leaders for Nobles County 4-H and help with the Tri-State Beef Show.
