Bromans Greenhouse LLC
Floyd Broman grew up on the family farm in Plymouth and took over the farm in 1961. After the death of his father in 1974, and his mother, in 1978, Floyd, Carol, and their two young sons moved to Corcoran. There they built greenhouses where they began raising flowers and vegetables. Floyd and Carol sell their produce and plants on-site and at the Minneapolis Farmers Market.
In addition to flowers and vegetables, Floyd and Carol also raise vegetable plants for local vegetable growers, including a large number of Hmong family farmers.
Floyd is a member of the Central Minnesota Vegetable Growers Association where has served as a board member for many years. Floyd is also a member of Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association, Minnesota Grown and Minnesota Farm Bureau.
Floyd and Carol supply plants for a large number of fund-raising organizations including schools, churches, scouting troops, 4-H clubs, and youth athletic clubs. The Bromans are also very active members of Word of Peace Lutheran Church, in Rogers, Minn.
Floyd and Carol are committed to supporting the local community and believe it’s important to support local fruit and vegetable growers.
