The Will farm in southwestern Minnesota goes back to 1914, when Henry and Amilia Will moved to Minnesota from Iowa. The family farm tradition was passed from Henry to his son, Lloyd, then to his son, Rodney and finally to his sons Randall and Kenneth. The Will Farm was honored as a Century Farm in 2015.
The Wills produce corn, soybeans and alfalfa. The family also operates a cow/calf feedlot operation.
Helen Will, along with her sons Kenneth and Randall and Randall’s wife, Julie, are owner-operators of the farm. Randall and Kenneth were both very involved with 4-H and FFA over the years. Helen and her late husband, Rodney, were 4-H leaders in the 1980s and ‘90s. Randall and Julie’s children have been involved in 4-H as well. Randall and Julie are members of the Cottonwood County Beef Producers. Randall and Kenneth are members of the Cottonwood County Farm Bureau.
