Weiss Family Farm
Gary started farming in 1972 with his father and in the early 1980s Gary and his brother purchased a dairy operation. During the 1990s Gary sold his half of the dairy to his brother and started a cow/calf business that he ran until 2011. It was then he sold the cows. Gary raised grain until just last year and now rents his land to his brother.
Gary graduated from the Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston in 1966 and returned for his 50th class reunion in June.
Terry worked for the Red Lake Falls Gazette for 30 years. After that she worked for the Red Lake Falls Co-op Federal Credit Union. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she assists as a guild leader, choir member, lector and collection counter.
Gary is a member of the American Legion, Red Lake County Co-op Board of Directors, serves as a Wylie Township supervisor and Gary is a lifetime member of the VFW.
