Stevens Family Farm
Bob and Dara Stevens were both raised on family farms in Blue Earth County. They started farming together in 1977—the same year they were married. They raised their children, Angie and Andy, on the farm.
The Stevens raise 1,500 acres of corn, soybeans and alfalfa. The farm is also home to a herd of purebred Maine Anjou cattle. Andy and his wife, Carlie, are farming with Bob and Dara. Carlie is a CPA and the couple has a son, Kaden
The Steven’s daughter, Angie, is married to Clinton Melllies and lives in Hutchinson with their children Logan and Brooke.
Bob, Dara, Andy and Carlie are members of Grace United Methodist Church in Vernon Center. Bob is a member of the fire department in town. He also belongs to the Maine Anjou Association.
The family has a history of involvement with 4-H. Bob and Andy currently assist with the Blue Earth County 4-H beef project.
