Patsche Family Farm
Chuck and Wanda began farming in 1978, transitioning the farm from dairy cows, corn and soybeans to raising pigs along with producing corn and soybeans. The Patsche’s crop farm about 1000 acres of corn and soybeans and raise about 4400 pigs a year in the wean-to-finish operation. They are shareholders in Center Creek Pork where their weaned pigs are sourced.
The Patsche family gets involved in the farm during the busy fall harvest season. Family members include daughter Teresa and her husband Dion Montgomery, daughter Alisa and her husband Marcus Eytcheson and daughter Kristeena. Grandchildren Candence, Jadyn, Edwin and Esme like to visit the farm.
The family is involved with their local church. Wanda serves on the Minnesota Pork Board; volunteers for Common Ground activities and participates in the Speak for Yourself program of Farm Bureau. She is very active in social media advocating for agriculture and is a current participant in the MARL program.
