Frontier Family Farms
Cole and Katie co‐own Frontier Family Farms outside of Albert Lea. They have three children: Danica, Bridget and Cael. The farming operation is set in an 80/20 corn‐soybean rotation and the Pestorious family has worked to restore a wetland area on their farm.
Cole is a 6th generation farmer in Freeborn County; he’s also a sales representative for Pioneer Seed. Cole works side‐by‐side on the farm with his parents, Gary and Dawn. He currently serves as president of the Freeborn County Corn and Soybean Growers Association and has served on the Freeborn County Soil and Water Conservation Board. Cole is also a member of the Midwest Agricultural Initiatives Network and is a member of the Top Producer Executive Network.
Katie currently serves as vice president of the Sibley School P‐T‐O and serves on the Corey Goodnature Scholarship Board. Katie is also on the board of the Albert Lea FFA Alumni Association.
