Rahn Family Farm
The Rahn Family Farm, located near Good Thunder, MN was started in 1918 by William Rahn. After William, it was run by his son Martin Rahn before being operated by LeRoy. Today LeRoy and his family grow corn, soybeans, sweet corn, and raise hogs. Their land is in the Blue Earth River Watershed, which means that much of their land has ravines that they have done extensive conservation work to, to control erosion and enhance wildlife. LeRoy and his wife Norma have five children; Denise Hudson, Thomas, Larry, and Keven Rahn, and Janeen Hutchinson. Thomas is married to Christine and the couple has three children; Tyler (married to Allison), Whitney, and Braden. Larry and his wife Lori have two children; Logan and Makayla. Keven is married to Lora and they have a son; Christian. Sons Thomas, Larry, and Keven are all part-owners of the farm with LeRoy and Norma.
The Rahns are involved in the Blue Earth County Pork Producers, Good Thunder Fire Department, Blue Earth County 4-H, FFA, and in their local church.
