David and Dennis Pierson
Brothers David and Dennis Pierson farm together in Lake City, MN. David and Dennis moved to Wabasha County in 1971, both coming from Washington County. The brothers have 400-acres and grow corn, alfalfa, barley, and soybeans. They also milk 85 registered Holsteins. David and his late wife Cheryl have two children; Todd and Traci. Dennis and his wife Mary have three children; Tessa, Evan, and Riley. All of the children are 4-H Alumni and are employed off the farm.
David and Dennis are active in the Holstein Association and in the local, state, and national DHIA. They have participated in several field trials with the U of M Agronomy and Soils Department and have hosted University of Minnesota Dairy Judging Teams. Sapa Ska Farm was a tour destination for the 2010 National Holstein Convention, hosting over 250 Holstein enthusiasts from 30 states.
