Neal and Jolene Anderson
Neal and Jolene Anderson began farming in 1971 with 240 acres. The couple worked with Neal’s father until he passed away in 1981. Today Neal and Jolene own 1300 acres and rent another 600, all of which are in Eden Township, Polk. Co. Together they raise wheat, soybeans, and corn. Neal and Jolene have three grown sons; Jason, Nathan, and John; as well as nine grandchildren.
The Andersons attend New Journey Church where Neal is an elder. Neal has made 14 mission trips to Ukraine working to develop agriculture economic development, speaking, and doing day camp ministry. Jolene is involved in New Journey Church’s music ministry as well as the Ukraine Economic Development (AED) project.
