Pine Lawn Farms was established in 1975.  Today it has 300 head of registered Hampshire and Dorset sheep.  The Caskeys sell seed stock to commercial and purebred sheep operations all across the United States.  The farm has a national reputation for producing sheep with extensive production records and performance.  Mike and Carrie have four children.  Irene Nelson (married to Brad), Jason Caskey, Kelly Brose (married to Jarid), and Kyle Caskey (married to Sarah).  Jason and Kyle are involved with the marketing aspects of the farm.

In the community, the Caskeys are involved with 4-H, FFA, Pipestone County Farm Bureau, Board of Directors of MN Lamb and Wool Producers Association, Board of Directors of MN Hampshire Sheep Association, American Hampshire Sheep Association, Board of Directors of MN Livestock Breeders Association, National Sheep Association, National Sheep Industry Development Board, MN Farm Bureau Sheep Committee, and State Farm Bureau Political Action Committee.
