Eugene and Eunice Millner
The Millners bought Gene’s parents farm in 1974 when it was a 40 cow dairy. Gene and Eunice expanded the dairy to 80 cows. The Millners started their work at 4 am every day until the cows were sold in 1998. Eugene and Eunice have four sons; Rick, Mike, Matt, and Tim. Son Matt joined the farm operation and transitioned to mostly grain farming that includes wheat, soybeans, canola, and corn.
The Millners are members of St. Phillips Church where Eunice was treasurer for many years. She also served on the Relay for Life Team, was a volunteer at the hospital coffee and gift shop, and was a previous 4-H leader. She loves baking for the grandchildren and attending their sporting events. In the summer she enjoys vegetable and flower gardening. Eugene serves on the town board and the Farmers Union Board and enjoys attending his grandchildren’s sporting events too.
