The Agre Farm in Sacred Heart is a 4th generation farm started by Hans Agre. The farm has been a grain farm and livestock farm throughout the years. Today sugar beets, corn, soybeans, wheat, and vegetable crops are grown. It also has feeder cattle. Jeff Agre is the head of the operation and gets assistance from sons Mitch and Brandon. Mitch is a senior at NDSU in the Ag Systems Management Program and Brandon is a freshman at Ridgewater in the GPS/ GIS program. Both boys have plans to come back to the farm after college. Jeff also gets help from his father, Paul who is retired, but yet still continues to be active in the operation.
Jeff is active in the Sacred Heart Jaycees and Sacred Heart Fire Department. His wife Amy is a member of the Sacred Heart First Responders and has been active in church council and Sunday School. Sons Mitch and Brandon are also members of the Sacred Heart Jaycees and were active in the FFA in High School.
