Tom and Brenda Kroening
Kroening Farms of Olmsted County is a 4th generation farm, established in 1932 by Tom’s grandparents. The farm has undergone many changes over the years. The milk cows and hogs are gone now, replaced with more crop acres and cattle. Tom and Brenda currently finish out feeder cattle and produce corn, soybeans, sweet corn, peas, and alfalfa. Their son Hunter has joined the farm operation as a full-time farmer and their daughter Jackie continues to provide ground support and sandwiches for the farming crew.
The Kroenings are active in their township with board work and town hall maintenance. They really enjoyed the years the kids participated in 4-H, where they showed cattle and poultry. Tom is a snowmobile and motorcycle enthusiast and Brenda is a private pilot who enjoys flying her planes in the Midwest.
