The Christopher family in Jackson, MN has been a life-long grain and livestock operation. Brent and Kevin Christopher grain farm 1600 acres of a corn and soybean rotation. They utilize GPS technologies and follow best management practices. The Christophers also have a flock of 70 ewes that produce club lambs for the grandchildren and other 4-H members. The grandchildren also show pigs and cattle. In the past, the Christopher farm finished out about 2000 head of hogs each year. Chris and Ethel are now retired, Kevin and Brent manage the crops, and Corey, Brent, and Kevin manage the club lamb production.
The Christophers are a close knit-family and are members of Our Savior’s Luther Church in Jackson. They are active in many athletic, 4-H, and FFA activities, and also served roles in the Corn and Soybeans Growers and Farm Bureau. The family members are very supportive of each other and willing to share their talents with others. Brent and Missy have three sons, Bryce (19), Taylor (17), and Ryan (13) while Kevin and Deb have a daughter Sarah (19) and son Scott (16).
