Tony and Stacie Schuler

Chippewa County

Tony Schuler of Granite Falls is the 3rd generation Schuler to operate the “home farm” where his mother Dawn still lives.  From a young age, Tony farmed and raised cattle and pigs alongside his father, Bill, until his father’s passing in 2002.  Today, the Schulers run a cow-calf operation of Purebred Red Angus and commercial cattle and grow corn, soybeans, wheat, and alfalfa.  Tony is the primary operator of the family farm.  Stacie does the farm’s financial books, record keeping, cattle registrations, and helps with other chores and tasks depending on the season.  Tony and Stacie’s children Kyla, Alayna, and Stella have various responsibilities that are changing each year as they get older and are able to do more chores and farm work.

In the community, the family is involved in 4-H, MN and National Corn Growers, MN and National Red Angus Association, and various church committees.  In addition, Tony is a township supervisor for the Granite Falls Township.  Off the farm, Stacie works full-time as the CFO at the local ethanol plant.  The girls attend Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg.  As time allows, Tony enjoys tractor pulling with his JD4020.
