Dean and Paul Heuer
The Heuer Farm has been in the family for 5 generations. The farm started with Paul and Dean’s great-grandfather Henry Heuer. Today, the Heuer’s grow 450 acres of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. They also milk 140 cows and raise all of their young stock on their farm. On the farm, Dean is responsible for nutrition and registration of the cattle, while Paul covers the book work. Both Dean and Paul share the duties on a day-to-day basis. The Heuer Family consists of Dean and Michelle and their children Chase, Andrew, and Sarah; along with Paul and Jen and their children Ben, Katelyn, and RaeAnn. All of the Heuer children enjoy life on the farm and help out wherever possible.
In the community, Dean is on the cemetery board at Ferguson Cemetery. He is also a director on the WFS board and a member of the Carver County Holstein Board. Paul is a board member for Bongard’s Creamery, a board member of Carver County Holstein Board, and is involved with the silent auction at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
