Bruce and Ann Tiffany
Fourth generation farmer, Bruce Tiffany, began his enterprise at the early age of 8 when his father and grandfather allowed him to take out a loan from the bank to buy a number of Shorthorn Cattle. Later, at age 11, he rented 20 acres on the farm he currently owns to grow his first crop of sweet corn. He still raises the corn for a canning company. Over the years, Bruce’s farm in Redwood Falls, MN has expanded. He and his wife Ann (who also grew up on a farm) raise corn, sweet corn, and pre foundation soybeans for seeds. They also do custom harvest and tillage and custom beef finishing. Bruce’s parents, as well as Ann and their three sons have all played a role in the family farm as they help whenever they can. Son Matthew has been recently married and he and his wife have moved to the homestead. Matthew has his own crop farming and seed conditioning operations as well as an equipment rental business. Bruce and Matthew share equipment and labor at their respective farms.
The Tiffany family is involved in the community. A few activities Bruce is involved in include Redwood Valley FFA Alumni, Varidity Energy, MARL, and Bio Business Alliance of MN. Ann is an assistant in the Early Childhood department at the school and is involved in various activities throughout the community and school. The entire family enjoys giving environmental farm tours to students, teachers, church, and civic groups.
