Buesing Ag Partnership Dean and Don’s father, Ernest Buesing, moved the family from Ghent to the home farm near Granite Falls in 1948. Dean and Don started farming the home farm in 1973 and formed Buesing Farms Inc. six years later. The two raised corn, soybeans, and operated a farrow to finish hog operation. They also fed cattle until 1992. In 2007, Don’s son, Derek joined the farming operation and the farm became known as Buesing Ag Partnership. Today, the partnership raises corn and soybeans. They also operate a farrow to finish hog operation. Dean and his wife, Barb, have three children: Diane (Shawn) Radloff, Michael, and Angela. Don and his wife, Betty, have three children: Derek, Ryan, and Sara. While growing up, all of the children helped out on the farm. Today, Dean, Don, and Derek handle the farming operation and the wives continue to assist when needed. Dean, Don, and Derek are all members of the Yellow Medicine County Corn and Soybean Growers associations. The entire family belongs to St. Andrews Catholic Church. | ||||||||||||||
