Located in Taunton, Minnesota, the Pesek farm has been in the family since its purchase in 1919 by Richard’s grandparents. Richard and Judy run a diversified crop and livestock operation that utilizes artificial insemination and embryo transfer to develop and enhance the club calf operation and whole herd genetics. The Peseks run numerous acres of corn, soybeans, alfalfa and pasture.
Richard and Judy are involved with the Midwest and Minnesota Cattlemen’s Association as well as the Minnesota Cattlewoman’s Association, Canby FFA Alumni Association and 4-H livestock Committee. The Pesek’s are members of the St. Leo Catholic Church.
