In 1887, Solomon Olson came from Norway looking for a cheap farm to buy in Minnesota. This farm became the home for four generations of Olson farmers and is currently the home of Tom and Denise Olson. Throughout history, this farm has raised a wide variety of livestock as well as an assortment of crops. Today the farm is 600 acres of corn, soybeans, specialty natto soybeans and wheat.

Tom was involved in 4-H and FFA in school and has held many positions within agricultural organizations including the Cyrus Farmers Elevator Board and Morris Coop Board. In his free time he enjoys reading historical books and golfing. Denise is a member of the Framnas Jolly Workers and enjoys cooking and handiwork. Both Tom and Denise are graduates of Concordia College.
