Walling Family The Walling Family moved to Redwood County in 1982 to a swine farm. Four years later, the family became the manager of the operation and in 1988 became a partner. Finally, in 2004, they bought out the partners to become sole owners at their farm in Milroy. Today, the operation is a nursery and finish custom hog farm. Lon, Jean, and their son-in-law, Terry are involved with the family operation. Lon and Jean are involved in the community and Redwood County. Lon is on the Milroy School Board, Redwood County Mental Health Collaborative, Redwood County Pork Producers, and is a Redwood County Commissioner. Jean is a CCW officer, Religious Education Coordinator, and is on the Milroy School PTO. | |||||||||||||
