Orville and Genevieve Knott Since 1910, Orville and Genevieve Knott have been the third generation to farm the land in Red Lake Falls, MN. For 30 years, the couple operated a dairy and hog operation. Currently, they have beef cattle on the farm. They also grow feed for their cattle, including corn, small grains, and alfalfa. Orville and Genevieve have four children and ten grandchildren. Their son Jay, farms with them. Genevieve works off the farm at the Occupational Development Center in Thief River Falls teaching mentally challenged adults to be productive citizens in their communities. She also serves as a Red Lake Falls Township Clerk and the co-coordinator of the Community Blood Drive. When her children were in school, she was a 4-H Key leader. Orville and Genevieve are both members of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church. | ||||||||||||||
