Gerry and Debbie purchased their farm in 1980 and have expanded their operation into 20 acres of wetlands, farm land and 8000 square feet of greenhouse space. The Urbans raise numerous bedding plants, flowers, herbs and vegetables that are sold at local farmers’ markets on the weekends. The Urbans have three children who are 17, 19 and 21 who have always had a helping hand in the operation.
Gerry began working for the city of Vadnais Heights in Public works. He is currently a full-time City Administrator and was a charter member of the Rotary and Lions’ clubs. Debbie is a trained social worker and a blood marrow transport volunteer. She spends time traveling across the country to help others in her spare time.
