Steve and Brenda Pierson & Travis and Nathan Steve is the third generation farmer on his farm in Woodstock, MN. His grandparents moved to Woodstock from Nebraska in 1941. Then after his father served two years in the army following high school, he farmed there and is still farming there today with Steve. Steve has a beef cow/calf operation. He finishes his own fat cows. He also raises 1100 acres of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. Steve is the proud owner and operator of the farm. His wife, Brenda is a teacher and helps on the farm when possible. Steve’s sons, Travis and Nathan also enjoy helping when they can. Ray, Steve’s father, helps with day-to-day chores and fieldwork and his. mother runs errands and feeds the men at noon. Away from the farm, Steve is president of Woodstock First Responders. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Chandler Co-op. | |||||||||||||
