Brian and Julie of Ada, Minnesota were born and raised in Norman County. The couple began farming in 1977 and they are the 3rd generation to live in the family farmhouse. The Borge’s run a crop operation that consists of seed wheat, dry edible beans, sunflowers, soybeans and organic potatoes.
Off of the farm, Brian is involved with the church council and is a Cenex Bard member of MCIA. Julie is a real estate agent and a dental accounts manager. Their oldest, Jess, is a graduate of MSU, Moorhead and currently works for a college in Florida. Their son, Jon, attends UMC, Crookston, is an Eagle Scout, and was a finalist for Star farmer in 2007 for FFA. Jon also assists with crop scouting on the farm.
