Ben Cook Family

The Cook Family Farm in Adrian, MN is a 3rd generation family farm homesteaded by Ben’s grandfather, Martin Cook.  After returning from vocational school, Ben farmed with his father, Paul Cook.  In later years, Ben took over the farm.  Currently, Ben farms with his wife, Karen, and their children Jason, David, Natalie, and Matthew on a 240 acre farm.  All crops and livestock have been certified organic since 1995.  The Cook family operates a 35 head cow/calf operation.  They sell quarters and halves privately and sell the balance to Organic Valley. They also have 200 plus laying hens which produce Omega 3 Organic Eggs.  Ben and his family also raise corn, soybeans, oats, flax, and hay.  The soybeans are raised for organic soymilk market.

Along with the involvement in school activities, including band and choir, the Cook’s are members of the Nobles County Grand Prairie Rockets 4-H club.  They also are active at St. Adrian Catholic Church in Adrian.
