Ron and Ann Borash purchased their farm in Bowlus, Minnesota from Ron’s dad in 1983. Spunk Brook Farm has been in the Borash family for over 100 years. The family milks 60 Holsteins, raises its own livestock and own 300 acres. The Borashes are currently breeding for red and white Holsteins. Ron and Ann’s eight children have been involved in the farm’s success over the years.

Off the farm, Ron is active on the Sunrise Ag Creamery and Royalton School Board and Ann serves as a 4-H club leader. All of the children have been involved in high school athletics, band and choir as well as 4-H. The Borashes have 12 horses that they enjoy riding when time permits.
