Located in LaCrescent, Minnesota, the Moldenhauer farm was purchased in 1964. Ed farmed with his father until 1989 when Ed and his wife, Becky took over the operation. Their three children, Liz, Jason and Amanda help with many aspects of this dairy and crop farm. The Moldenhauers milk 200 Holstein cows and raise 600 acres of corn and alfalfa.
Ed and Becky serve as board members for the Houston County American Dairy Association and also belong to the Dairy Herd Improvement Association. All the children are active in the local 4-H and the Moldenhauer farm has hosted the University of Minnesota Corn Silage Research Plot for many years.
