Lyle was raised on the farm located in Goodhue, Minnesota that was purchased by his grandfather in 1910. Before Lyle and Shannon’s marriage in 1990, Lyle farmed with his father and brother. The farm is currently owned and operated by Lyle and Shannon where they milk 150 cows, raise their own heifers and run 325 acres of corn, peas and alfalfa.
The Dicke’s have three children, Ann, Charlie and Jay, who have all been assets to the farm’s success. Ann and Charlie are involved in high school sports as well as 4-H and FFA where they show dairy cattle. Lyle and Shannon are active in Goodhue’s Volksfest celebration and the St. Columbkill Catholic Church. The family hosted the Goodhue County Holstein Association summer meeting on their farm.
