Located in Bricelyn, Minnesota,
Lorenzland Dairy is a fifth-generation farm owned and operated by Owen and Andy
Lorenz. The farm has been in the family since 1888. The Lorenzes milk 180 Holsteins and run 880 acres of corn, soybeans, alfalfa
and wheat. The farm is currently transitioning 250 acres into organic crops and
will soon be transitioning the dairy operation.
Andy and his wife Kirsten serve on
the County Farm Bureau Board and State Young Farmer & Rancher Committee. They
also are involved in the American Dairy Association and help with Sunday school
at their church. Owen has served on committees for the ADA, DHIA and Holstein Association. Both Andy
and Owen graduated from the University
of Minnesota with
agricultural degrees.
