Cottonwood County
Kendall and Jana Piotter

In 1985, Kendall started farming with his dad, Ervin, and brother, Marlin.  Jana joined the operation in 1994 when she and Kendall married.  Today Kendall and Jana continue to farm in the Jeffers area with two of Kendall’s brothers, Marlin and Kellen.  The brothers farm 1300 acres of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa.  They also have a cow/calf operation.  On the farm, Kendall and his brothers do the day to day operation, Jana keeps the books, and the Piotter children, Dylan, Taylor, Molly, Kelsey, and Zachary are all becoming expert rock pickers, thistle sprayers, and cattle chasers.

Kendall serves on the local Farmers Co-op Oil Board and is president of the Cottonwood Cattle Producers.  He promotes beef by doing a lot of grilling for the Cattlemen throughout the year.  The Piotter children are members of the Amboy Sunrisers 4-H club.
