Cottonwood County
Keith started farming with his brothers and father in 1975. He then attended the U of M-Waseca and received his degree in Diversified Ag Production which then took him to South Dakota State University, where he received his Ag Education degree. Keith then returned to the farm with his wife, Sandy. The Engens have a corn/soybean crop rotation, finish beef cattle and custom feed hog operation. They say their farm is constantly changing to become more efficient.

The Engens are active members of the Cottonwood Cattlemen’s Association, Cottonwood County 4-H and Red Rock Central FFA. The Engen children all are involved in the care of the farm and in many ministries at church. Keith and Sandy are proud to have their daughter, Britta representing the Beef Industry as the Minnesota Beef Queen.
