Lindeland Family Farms

After ownership by Lac’s great grandparents, grandparents, and parents, Lac and his late wife, Lynn took over the Lindeland Family Farm in 1986 when their house got too small for the family.  Lac still resides on the farmstead and farms with his son, Lucas.  Lac and Lucas operate about 1,900 acres of corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay.  They also custom feed 12,000 hogs and have a pure breed registered Angus cowherd.  Lac has five children: Jamie, Kendra, Lucas, Lacey, and Lauren.

The Lindeland’s have been involved in 4-H in Blue Earth County for the past 22 years.  Lac is a beef project leader and has served on the 4-H advisory council.  He is also a member of Minnesota Farmers Union, Minnesota Angus Association, and St. Joseph’s Church at Waldorf.  Lucas, Lacey, and Lauren have been supporters and leaders in the Relay for Life cancer walk in memory of their mother, Lynn.
