Patrick and Colleen own and operate a diversified crop and hog operation on the farm Patrick’s grandparents purchased in the early 1900’s which is located in Mapleton, Minnesota. It is here that Patrick and his son, Kyle, maintain two 1,200 head finishing swine barns, a cow-calf operation and raise corn and soybeans.
The Carey family is involved in their church and the local 4-H club. They are also members of the Farm Bureau and the Minnesota Pork Producers. Patrick and Colleen have four children who are all active in various aspects of the operation. Kyle will be joining the family farm after completing his degree at South Central Technical College.
