Bruce and Lynette Wellendorf Family The Bruce and Lynette Wellendorf Family are honored to be nominated for the Farm Family Award. Their farm, which was established in 1912, has been in the family for three generations. The family currently farms 2,800 acres of corn and soybeans northeast of Ortonville, MN. Bruce farms the land with his brother, John Wellendorf. His father, Donald is also still actively involved in the farm operation. Bruce and Lynette have two children, Melissa, age 6 and Kristina, age 3. When they are not busy with their children or farm, Bruce and Lynette are involved in the Farm Bureau and Big Stone County Fair Board. Lynette is also employed with Otter Tail Power Company and is involved with the Ortonville Early Childhood Initiative. | |||||||||||||
