Jacobson Dairy It all began when Jeramie was in high school and began farming on his own at his parents’ home in Detroit Lakes, MN. In 1995, he purchased the farm and has built the heard from 17 cows to 50. Jacobson Dairy currently owns 230 acres and farms approximately 350 acres of owned and rented land. They raise all of their own heifers and sell the bulls. They also raise corn, wheat, soybeans, and alfalfa. Jeramie, his wife, Kathy, and their children, Hannah and Ethan all work together on the farm to be successful. Jeramie and Kathy are busy outside of the farm serving on the Becker County Dairy Association. They are also active in the Young Cooperatives of AMPI. Lastly, the family was featured as diarists in the Farm and Ranch Living magazine in 1997 where they kept a month long diary of their farm. | ||||||||||||||
